The summer of 2012 is fast approaching and so we find ourselves gearing up for the second annual FOP Trot. The FOP Trot is a 5k run/walk which is held to raise money for the Crete Backpack Program. This program helps to put food on the table for area needy youth. You may visit the “Events” page for more information. Please print a copy of the brochure and send in the registration form to help us set the table for hungry children!
Our Mission
The objectives of the Fraternal Order of Police, Lodge #74 are: to promote the enforcement of law and order; to improve the individual proficiency of our members in the performance of their duties; to encourage social, charitable and educational activities among law enforcement officers; to create a tradition of esprit de Corps insuring fidelity to duty under all conditions and circumstances; to cultivate a spirit of fraternalism and mutual helpfulness with the people we serve; to increase the efficiency of the law enforcement profession and thus more firmly to establish the confidence of the public in the service dedicated to the protection of life and property; to secure improved wages, hours, working conditions, and other economic advantages for our members through organized negotiations and collective bargaining.
